Now that the hinges are finished, I need to cut the shoulder pieces.

Both front and back of the Lorica Segmentata are fastened with leather straps, fed through special clasps. I had to make 72 (24 per armour).

in Heerlen has asked me to reproduce three Roman Lorica Segmentata, Corbridge type B and helmets to go with it (Galea, type Imperial Gallic).
I'll post about the making of over the next few weeks.
